Paula Abdul has a cud full of Simon Cowell

Songstress and ex-Laker girl Paula Abdul is now at loggerheads with "Idol" co-host Simon Cowell.

It is war between the American Idol judges and the fighting this season is in full force according to Abdul.

She tells Extra that Cowell’s behavior doesn’t cease to amaze her. “He’s ornery and he’s telling kids they’re grotesque. And it’s like, ‘Oh, yeah, it’s Simon. What am I [thinking]? It’s Simon!’” she said.

Danny Noriega's rendition of "Jailhhouse Rock" was pretty grotesque just for the record.

In American Idol’s seventh season, Abdul is still surprised that she’s able to deal with Cowell and can’t imagine how his girlfriend and “Extra” correspondent Terri Seymour does either.

“How does Terri ever put up with that? I mean, how do I put up with it?” She continued, “I just watched ‘Extra’ tonight and he’s…a whole piece was put together where he’s totally misbehaving.”

Despite the on-camera fighting, Abdul does admit that “We love him.”

Abdul also tells “Extra” that her new music video had a premature premiere when it was leaked on the internet saying, “I was not aware that it leaked out and everyone's seen it. It's supposed to world premiere on American Idol [today] but I guess it world premiered [yesterday]!”

She’s not complaining since her fans were not disappointed. “I heard the response was really great. It’s all you can wish for,” she revealed.
