John Barrowman says his 'Torchwood' co-star James Marsters found their gay kiss a turn-on.
The actor - who plays Captain Jack Harkness in the hit British TV show - claims former 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' star Marsters found their on screen smooch extremely arousing, despite being straight.
John said: "James Marsters plays Captain John in the show. The first day we were on set together, we had to do the kiss and he said I made him feel very comfortable. Then he said, 'My girlfriend's getting really turned on by this! Feel free to do it as many times as you want!' Who could ask for more?"
John - who married his long-term partner in a civil ceremony in 2006 - also claims he has been romantically propositioned by a host of famous men, but has never taken things further.
He added: "I have never had a relationship with a famous person. I've approached by famous people but I've always said no. They wanted me for other reasons and I wasn't prepared to be a trophy."

Dream on John. James' girlfriend got turned on not him. He's as much as said so in several interviews. Nice try though. Sounds to me like John (who obviously thinks very highly of himself) was the one who got turned on not the other way around.
Has there ever been any doubt that John thinks highly of himself??I don't believe that 'I'm so honest and humble' bullsh*t. Too bad he can't act worth a darn; I know that's just my opinion, but I always believe my opinions! I have other opinions which I will not share right now.
John B. has every right to think highly of himself. There's very little the man can't do with excellence and, whether anyone wants to admit it because he IS very confident, the man is simply gorgeous.
And let's not forget when James was asked who was the better kisser John or 'Buffy' he said John without hesitation...
Just found this, just found Torchwood and no bout adoubt it--the kisses were hot--if you do it right, kissing would turn you on if you were dead. That John B and Mr. Marsters played so well together, our good fortune don't you think? I'm beginning to understand what excellent actors are involved in Torchwood. I am wholly impressed with the character James Marsters plays on that show--love the innuendo jokes or references--cool seeing two lucious men full body press kissing, innuit?

*snort* If JohnB thought James was hitting on him, he was so wrong. lmao, James Marsters was amazed that his girlfriend was thrilled he was kissing another man, saying that it was a fantasy of hers (maybe even since she was a Spike fan -bet she's a slasher - wonder if it was Angel or Xander she saw Spike with? hmm), and James was getting a lot of action (apparently) from her. He was taken aback at first but then I'm thinking it grew on him, seeing as whenever he shared a kiss with John he rushed off to make out with his girlfriend. Some claimed it was to assure his sexuality but he admitted (I imagine there was blushing involved *g*) that his girlfriend found it hot. LOL
