Seems like National Geographic is going to the dogs!
(quit spinning off of me guys, ok?) tshhh!
This show sounds totally cool. It will be interesting to hear what the criteria is about what animals are accepted. These dog shows are the only reason I have the NGC!
I watched Dog Town tonight and it was a wonderful to watch and see the dogs that have another chance. 'Animal' really caught my heart. The bad thing is I can not find the website for Dog Town. Can some one send me the link to them=Not Nat Geo. Thanks
It's great to read such a positive review of the Nat Geo special. I am an employee of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and I don't have cable, but I'm looking forward to watching the first two episodes tomorrow night with a bunch of my fellow employees who are recording the shows. One note of clarification. The Nat Geo series, and all the literature, promos, blogs, reviews, etc. refer to 'Dogtown' as a separate entity, funded by Best Friends. The fact is, Dogtown is just one of many areas at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary here in southern Utah. We have thousands of animals here, mostly dogs and cats, but we also have horses, pigs, bunnies, birds, wildlife and other animals. All these lucky animals receive the same loving care and attention as the residents of Dogtown and I consider myself very fortunate to be involved in this wonderful operation. Mona, you can find out all about us at www.bestfriends.org
