'Numbers' (can't use caps) blew the shark tank
(as in the one that keeps the Big Jumping Fish)
to smithereens with this episode. The show has been
at the brink of irritating me for over a season.

This episode did it for me.

The Eppes brothers could have been much more interesting
to me had they been drawn by a realistic writing team.

Younger Eppes has been a slow study in academic genius,
but I don't blame Dave Krumholtz for that - he's a fine
actor. It's the writing, it's just geting terrible -- too
fast, too shoot 'em up cowboys with computers, too formula
with the romances, no depth... absolutely no depth.

That's criminal when you're writing about characters
who have this kind of potential.

I de-programmed my computer for this show last week and
won't be coming back for more.

Best of luck to the actors anyway.
They're all good, and this is a good paycheck.
