I'm hooked on Rescue Me and so looking forward to Season 5. In the mean time, how about putting the Season 4 DVD out for sale.

I am waiting patiently for Rescue me to come back. I know that they are going into production for a fifth season but the big question is 'when will it start'. It is one of the greatest shows on TV

I have seen July 1st mentioned in two places. However the other night on The Daily Show Dennis himself said it would start tonight, the 25th of May at 9:00. It is not listed in my TV guide, so I guess not.

I read 'new episodes' will not take place until April of 2009. A long break, a la the Sopranos. Some has to do with the writers strike and when Fx renewed the series. There are however what Fx is calling Mini-sodes starting June 24th 2008. They are some sort of 10 five minute previews giving some insight into the next 22 episodes for season 5 and 6.
