The History Channel 'Lost Book of Nostradamus' tops ratings

The History Channel tapped into something in the psyche of viewers all across the country, their Sunday Night special, "Lost Book Of Nostradamus" scored 3.5 Million total viewers.
The breakdown was: 1.9 Million Adult 25-54 Viewers;1.8 Million Adult 18-49 Viewers
Nostradamus' primetime show took The History Channel to cable’s top spot for that evening. This also gave the network its best performance ever for an original special.
Additionally, with the help of the lead-in, an encore presentation of "Nostradamus: 500 Years Later", The History Channel landed in cable’s top spot for the evening with 3.2 million total viewers, 1.7 million Adult 25-54 and 1.6 million Adult 18-49 viewers.
"The Lost Book of Nostradamus" minisite boosted History.com to its second highest trafficked day of the year on Sunday. Traffic on the minisite peaked during the 9pm hour where prophesies, images from the lost book and exclusive online video could be seen.
