It's not for 'the protection of the dog'. Most of the people in my neighborhood with children, have small dogs instead of large dogs, they're easier upkeep and do less damage to your yard. None of these animals have been harmed in any way. Something else is going on here, maybe one of them saw a 12 year old torture a dog? Maybe they have a problem with rich people and celebrities? This is a personal attack by this adoption agency, it's obvious because of the comment of 'Ellen Degeneres's of this world' and the fact they threatened her with the media and police before even trying to interview the family to see what they were actually like. They're just being nasty little b*tches (no pun intended) We have an adoption agency like that in my area, you're not allowed to adopt unless you either work at home or don't have a job. You need to stay at home with your 'child' as they say. At least they're honest and up-front about their accentricities. These nasties that Ellen dealt with need to be honest with adoptive families too, that way they won't hurt any more children. Shame on them for being that way. We don't need people like them who harm, and obviously dislike, children the way they do.

They ought to give the dog to Michael Vick, that would set everyone straight. Read the frickin' instructions people. Or, maybe Larry Craig, I've heard from people in the know that he has a big backyard where everybody likes to come and throw the ball around. BTW, I heard he's a catcher not a pitcher.

And speaking of straight, gay people shouldn't be allowed to adopt pets. They'll make em' funny if you know what I mean. 93% of the pets adopted by 57% of the gay people or those that identified themselves as gay or having gay tendencies or at least being able to recognize the color magenta
as being neither red nor purple report marked increased in leg humpage of people of the same sex by their adopted pets after and not before adopting said pets. It is also reported that this statistic is constant when normed for either rural or urban pets.

The real question: Who the hell collects the data?

And why would anyone want to put that information in their comments??
What a shame that there are better rules to protect pets than children. And speaking of rules - they are made to be broken under certain circumstances, and it would surely seem this is one of them. Now - let's get on with more important things!
