VH1 has plans to launch a new reality series, "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" on January 10, 2008.
The eight-episode series will follow the real experiences of nine celebrity patients in an Los Angeles-area treatment center under the care of Dr. Drew Pinsky and his team of counselors, nurses and addiction experts.
After the initial 21-day program is completed, the celebrities will have the option to continue treatment in a sober living environment for up to three more months at the expense of the network.
Dr. Drew is the host of the syndicated radio show Loveline that is also on MTV. VH1's new show is produced by Irwin Entertainment.

Dr. Drew is the real deal.
I would thank you Dr. Drew . I have seven days in without 1 shot of dope, almost cold turkey. In three days I will be checking myself into a 21 rehab, By Choice of life. I encourage anyone that feels like that they are at the end of the rope , check into somewhere. I was unfortunate , I had to do it cold turkey . and thats coming from some one that has a 120$ a day habbit. My message is 'quit bitch*ng, get back into life and get clean. Time keeps going whether you are using or not. If you are still using ,time wont help you, if you quit using , time WILL help you. Life isnt that damn bad. Move on, With love to all and may you have the strength to succeed. One day at a time

Idiot. He's an arrogant moron. The _least_ thing this guy needs is more ego-petting. Pass.
