Maximus Puss follows the life of Maximus, a Siamese cat who's fed up with his Mistress' (owner's) stupidity and is driven to unsuccessful attempts of suicide. Maximus hates what he considers to be a pointless existence. Although he is pampered, he resents his Mistress, who has a seemingly supernatural control over him. He believes neither in God nor an afterlife, but he does believe his troubled soul will only find peace by ending his tortured existence. His quest for death gives his life new meaning.

Penn Jillette provides the internal voice of the disgruntled and wisecracking Maximus. The comedian, illusionist, juggler and writer is part of the team, Penn & Teller. The pair has been entertaining audiences for 30 years and has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and more.
Jillette, the talkative, opinionated half of Penn & Teller, has had an e-mail address since 1984 and loves to share his opinions about technology and the Web, amongst other topics.
Maximus Puss was created by Jenni Villegas, who drew inspiration for Maximus from her real-life cat, Mr. Big, and no, he was not named after Chris Noth in Sex and the City. The idea for Maximus Puss was born when one of Jenni's three cats slipped on a rug and flew into a wall, nearly killing himself.
Villegas began to wonder if the cat's brush with mortality had been intentional and, if so, how would she know? Villegas began her career as a writer on CBS's Yes, Dear and now works on original scripts and develops Web content for various online producers.
Super Deluxe launched in early 2007 as one of the first Web sites to bring professionally produced comedy videos to online audiences. In addition to expanding its Web site, Super Deluxe is expanding to other platforms, including mobile devices, personal media players and gaming platforms.
