Check yourself. It's not a black and white issue and don't make it out to be. It's the fact that your poor little ego got bruised...AGAIN. Take the defeat, learn from it and roll with it. You are blowing off the awards forever. Who cares. You probably would have had more impact if you could have kept your trap shut and just not showed next year.
Quit crying, this whole thing is just another party for the affluent musical masses to come out and storke each others egos for 3 hours. I quit watching MTV in the mid 90's becuase of lack of videos.
I would be po'd if i were you and did not win anything on BET's award shows. Quit worrying about MTV and move on.

I personally feel he is one of the worst rappers I've ever heard. Why does he think he is so great? Besides, REAL musicians can sing, not just rap. Don't be surprised if you loose to singers, buddy!

It is not a black and white thing. it is a you suck thing. the only time I see you name in the media is when you are complaining about something. I did not win. I am a poor represted black man. I got more money than I know what to do with. Waaa waa waaa. Try doing a song, just one song, that is not about be poor and down trodden. try something fun. try not sucking so bad. adn you know you suck when the VMA's won't give you artist of the year.

The MTV awards get worse and worse each year. Kayne West is a sore loser. Why not just keep silent instead of burning your bridges? What happened to him-- used to rap about Jesus--now he's doing the half naked gyrating women in the background thing. He was right about George Bush though.

seriously, who cares... The VMAs are increasingly pathetic to watch and grow more irrelevant with each succeeding year. I have never seen so much lip synching in my life. That, and the fact that most artists who lipped barely did so convincingly... If you can't sing, don't become a recording artist.
I agree with most of you that he's wasting his breath on this MTV issue. What a sore loser. There are thousands of other talented artists who would kill to even be nominated for something like that. And this guy is spoiled and immature enough to gripe about it while he's getting on an elevator instead of taking time to think, and then addressing it in a thoughtful, grown-up way like a real man would. I can't wait to see to see this fool lose to 50 Cent in the 'Battle of the Record Sales' this week.

Kanye need to quit whine'in. He whines about everything. I read all of the posts on here and only one of them shows love to Kanye. To sum it up, quit whining about everything. The only time anyone heres about Kanye is if he is complaining about something. He always plays the 'black man' card. Hey KANYE- that was like over 60 years ago when people were segregated and 40 years ago when you could use the 'poor black man' excuse. Get the heck over yourself buddy. You are never going to sell out anything because you whine about everything. No body, i repeat NOBODY wants to hear a sore loser talk about how its because he is black that he didnt win anything.
