Edie Falco cast as guest on '30 Rock'

Carmela Soprano will be hitting the Big Apple on "30 Rock."
Actress Edie Falco has been given a guest spot on Tina Fey's NBC hit, "30 Rock."
Variety reports that Falco will appear in three episodes of the sitcom about a "Saturday Night Live"-ish TV show.
"I have laughed out loud at this show, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with such great comic actors," Falco said of "30 Rock" in a statement from NBC.
"We're thrilled to have such an amazing actress come join us," series creator and star Tina Fey said Thursday. "Also, a lot of guys on our crew want `The Sopranos' ending explained to them."
"30 Rock" will return for its second season on October 4, with co-stars Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan.
Fey's show is nominated for 10 Emmy Primetime Awards, including best comedy series.
