The longest running sci fi series, "Doctor Who" will feature the good Doctor (David Tennant) and his latest sidekick Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) as they head back to the Roaring Twenties in a new episode of the sci-fi series.
Filming is under way for an episode entitled "Planet Of The Ood," where the Tardis takes the time-travelling pair for an encounter with novelist Agatha Christie.
Christie, who died in 1976, will be played by Fenella Woolgar. Digital Spy reports that the actress appeared in Jekyll on BBC One, playing Min.
"Visiting Agatha Christie has been on my wish-list for ages now," commented the show's executive producer Russell T Davies. "For The Doctor, it's a real meeting of minds!
Digital Spy reports that Christie's grandson Matthew Prichard wa spleased: "What a brilliant idea... two characters whose contribution to British entertainment is absolutely unrivalled. As far as I know my grandmother, Agatha Christie, never saw Doctor Who, but I am sure she would have been intrigued, excited and above all flattered by all this attention in 2007."
"The Good Life's" Felicity Kendal also appears in the episode as Lady Clemency Eddison, reports the BBC.
Series four will be broadcast on BBC One next spring.
