FX will be home to a new transsexual drama created by "Nip/Tuck's" Ryan Murphy, with Brad Pitt to produce,

"4 oz." is a drama is about the path of a man who realizes he is a transsexual.
FX has greenlit the pilot episode of "4 oz." and FX and 20th Century Fox have also picked up three episode scripts according to Variety.
The transsexual series will be the first from the "Nip/Tuck" creator since he signed a multi-year $15 million deal with News Corp.-owned divisions FX, 20th Century Fox and the Fox Network, reports Variety.
Murphy co-created "4 oz." with "Nip/Tuck" writer Brad Falchuk. Murphy will also direct the pilot, and will serve as executive produce with Plan B productions principals Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner, in their first attempt at producing television.
Casting will commence for the key role of a married man with two sons whose life takes a radical gender turn.
The protagonist of "4 oz." is a gynecologist who shares a medical practice with his father.
According to Variety, "Murphy still hopes to stretch the show over several seasons. The first season would deal with the revelation of the doc's decision; the second would revolve around him transitioning to female; the third would revolve around the surgery, and the fourth would consist of his new life as a woman and his attempt to find love."
