Yes, the vast majority of people posting comments here are pro-Dog, and in a democracy, the majority rules! So all you hate mongering miscreants can just shut up and go back to your coloring books and crayons.

That being said, it's incredible that so many of these peons don't seem to have the intellect to understand that something is SERIOUSLY wrong here! And if you don't care a hang what happens to Duane 'Dog' Chapman, then what about yourself or your own family? If the 'powers-that-be' can crucify a man who is so much in the public eye, then there is cause for EVERYBODY to be concerned!

Back when this extradition mess all began, US Marshalls stormed Dog's home and arrested him on 'Kidnapping' charges. This was wrong since the Mexican charge was only 'Deprivation Of Liberty, ' NOT 'Kidnapping'! But you couldn't get him extradited let alone arrested for that, so 'Kidnapping' was what was put on the arrest warrants. FRAME!

And to date, this was never addressed! The reason for this 'mistake' was never explained. The case should have been thrown out of the US court on that basis alone! Check out: youtube DOT com/watch?v=fApPRjsHGSQ

But it's becoming clear that somebody with a lot of power is manipulating things behind the scenes. Somebody is out to get the Dog, and it's somebody high up in the US justice system. Either someone is paying a lot of money to get Dog screwed over, or he has somehow innocently become involved in something that's way over his head!! In this transcript of the Glen Beck show, there are a few more pieces of this puzzle, from the Dog himself!! And he has solemnly vowed that if he does go down, that he's going to make sure he takes his enemies down with him!! glennbeck DOT com/news/08172007.shtml

Personally, I think the Dog is an American hero, and he is beloved the world over. He stands up for the little man, for the people! He does all that one man can do to help others, and then some! But how many of you Dog-bashers have ever done anything at all for society? And whether you love the Dog, or hate him, he is an American citizen and this is a serious matter that could even effect you! Yeah, that's right, YOU: Joe Armchair! John Q. Public! The citizens of the USA! And that alone should be more than enough reason for you to speak out against this injustice!!

Maybe if he, in the immortal words of Wesley Willis: 'Cut the Mullet!' then he'd have better luck with the long arm of the law, and as a person.

Sadly my son watches this rather sad middle aged idiot as he catches old ladies and shoplifters. It would be great if the Mexicans were to keep him and his gang of retarded posers there for just a few years.

SP4: Has anyone bothered to ask why?Aug 21st, 2007 - 13:38:35

Chapman detained a bail jumper, with the aid of local mexican authorities and was then charged with mexican crimes.

How in god's name can a country legitimately bring charges when you do the deed in the presence of legal authority and with their consent!????????

He brought a disgusting rapist to justice. Even if he is put in jail for doing that, he can rest easy at night knowing that he may have saved some women's lives. I don't care what he did or how he did it, in my opinion what he did was honorable, which is less than I can say about half the comments here.

Also, he should definitely cut the mullet. That's a different story altogether.

Dog hasn't be doing all this for our country. Please. He runs a business. It makes him money. He's not a hero, he just has a job that serves the public interest. So does the garbage man.
Not much difference.

Who am I kidding though...we all know it's Bush's fault.

of idiots, has anybody heard anything about Congolese-a Rice lately? Also I think Dog should keep the mullet and all the regalia and feathers, and trinkets needed for him to do his job properly. If you saw Dog when you answered the door you would either be frozen with fear or hit the floor laughing your ass off..

This is shameful. He's a good guy and helps people. Where's the ACLU when this kind of thing pops up? Duane Chapman is pro-America, that's why he's getting so much flack form these idiots. I'm embarrassed of our country's legal system.

Shameful. Just shameful.

You all crack me up. Chapman arrests people that jump bail and you applaud that. When Chapman jumps bail, and he is being brought to justice it's an outrage. Make no mistake he had no tight to do what he did in Mexico.

Yup, how do you spell hypocrite.

I wrote to the White House and all of my legislators about this issue - and not a single one of them wrote back or otherwise acknowledged my letter. I don't understand what Dog could have done to draw the ire of our Government, but I strongly suspect it is that he succeeded in bringing that wealthy miscreant to justice where our own enforcement bodies either failed to act or failed to succeed. Maybe all these legal woes are some sort of recompense for Dog giving Bush's Justice Department a black eye?

Bear in mind that the same people who are harassing the Dog are the same ones who are trying to put a stranglehold against States that are seeking to expand the Children's Health Insurance Program. Maybe in 2008 you'll vote these miserable elitists out of office, as we should have done in 2004?

Food for thought...
