WWE Superstars were out in full force over the weekend as part of the Biggest Party of The Summer.
In addition to the weekend’s live events, Matt Hardy paid a visit to the Warped Tour in Philadelphia, Mr. Kennedy hit Long Island for the Warped Tour at Nassau Coliseum, Mick Foley appeared at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles signing autographs and riding the roller coasters with fans, and The Miz hit Detroit for Opie and Anthony’s Traveling Virus Comedy Tour, which featured comedians Louis C.K., Carlos Mencia and Bob Saget.
ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley graces the cover of the September issue of Flex Magazine. In the magazine, Lashley talks about his workout routine, making the transition from amateur wrestling to WWE and getting to shave the head of Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 23.
Last week WWE was pleased to host a group of Korean students visiting the US as part of the “LG Global Challenger 2007” program. Each year, LG Electronics Worldwide runs a competitive student program which aims to send groups of kids to learnabout foreign cultures, economics, people and politics. Six students were given a tour of the WWE tower and asked questions about WWE’s business and plans for international expansion.
The Hartford Courant recently released its annual list of top 25 publicly traded Connecticut companies, placing WWE at #13. The rankings take into account stock value, profits, revenue growth, and total employee numbers to determinewhich companies provided the greatest benefit to their shareholders and to Connecticut residents.
