Attention fans of fast cars, UK celebrities and Chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver: The hot UK show "Top Gear" will be revving up on BBC America Monday nights starting August 20 as the British motor show debuts at 8pm with a two episode special.
One of the most successful and interesting phenomenons on UK television, Top Gear defies genre. Part factual and part entertainment, the Emmy-winning car show doesn't fit into any standard category. Each week the show will highlight super-cars, stunts, time trials and road tests led by hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
Scheduled guests include actors Ewan McGregor, Ray Winstone, and chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

"Top Gear" is described as irreverent, witty, and refreshingly honest, in short, a motor show like no other.
Featuring super-cars, stunts, time trials, and road tests, each week Top Gear assesses the performance of some of the most desirable cars around. But it is the sharp wit of its presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, that makes Top Gear more than just a motor show.

Led by Jeremy, the Top Gear team takes cars to the limit and beyond to find out if they're as good as their manufacturers claim. Full of stunts, challenges, and special features, Top Gear is exciting, inclusive, and passionate - produced with style and unique perspective.
