Amy Winehouse is set to guest star in 'The Simpsons'.
The 'Rehab' singer is thrilled after being offered the chance to feature in an episode of the hugely popular animated series.
A show insider said: "Amy is huge in America right now. She was asked if she would consider making an appearance on the show and she agreed. Apparently she is a big fan.
"There aren't many details about the episode yet, but we do know she meets Lisa in a blues bar and teaches her how to sing."
Amy is the latest in a long line of famous British musicians to have a cameo in the show. Sir Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones Keith Richards and Sir Mick Jagger, Sting and The Who have all featured in the past.
Speculation is also rife Amy has been lined up for a role in a new TV project being devised by 'West Wing' creator Aaron Sorkin.
It is believed the episode of 'The Simpsons' featuring Amy, 23, will be screened next year.
