The rub for many is, will the work be worth it? Or, just cut and run and make a life elsewhere.
Anthony Anderson plays good cop Marlin Boulet, a New Orleans cop who stuck it out, and wants to bring it back. "(We want) to bring back a sense of hope to the community," actor Anthony Anderson told reporters during a stop at the TCA TV critics press tour in Beverly Hills. "We want to bring back jobs and revenue, and help in that rebuilding process."
Boulet's stomping ground is the devastated Ninth Ward, he's a local guy who loves the food and the frisson of the Big Easy.
Dave Walker, TV critic for the New Orleans Times-Picayune, has a feature about the show HERE .
Walker quotes a New Orleans resident who asked the crew about the show, and then said "I hope you don't screw it up, because that could be good."
