'The Simpsons' put the brakes on PM Gordon Brown

"Simpsons" creator Matt Groening has put the brakes on any future apearances by the new Prime Minister Gordon Brown on his animated television show, according to Contactmusic.com.
PM Tony Blair had guest starred on a show that aired in 2003, despite this fact Groening is done with British statesmen on the show for awhile.
He said, "One Prime Minister per century is enough," according to Contactmusic.com.
Blair's performance on The Simpsons was noted by writer Al Jean, who said, "He was so good, we were able to use his first take because he was so good." In the episode, Blair meets the Simpsons at London's Heathrow Airport and invites them for tea at his official residence, No. 10 Downing Street.
