Madonna and 'The Simpsons'

Madonna is being lined up for a cameo role in 'The Simpsons'.
Matt Groening, the creator of the hit TV series, is desperate to sign up the pop superstar to play herself in a future episode.
He said: "We would love her to do the show. She's one of the people we haven't been able to get yet."
If Madonna agrees to appear alongside Homer and Bart she will join a long list of celebrities who have been turned into cartoon versions of themselves.
Sir Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, George Harrison, REM, Simon Cowell and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair have all featured in previous episodes.
Groening has also assured fans he has no plans to end the show after the long-awaited film version comes out this month.
He added: "It's going to carry on for another few years at least. There is no reason to stop. Our goal is to keep surprising people."
