If this is true then Benoit was nothing less than a monster. To do that to your son is inexcusable, cruel and heartless. I just hope and pray that neither Daniel nor Nancy suffered much.....My heart goes out to all of the Benoit & Daus family. Such a tragedy! :(
I wrestled. He did this to cause his son to pass out by putting pressure on the corroted artey therefore rendering him unconcious. It's sick but I think he was trying to be....I can't get it out. He was attempting to be humane. For the love of god this family was doomed from the start if he was in the picture.
you may be right. If the hold was applied correctly his forearm would have been across the side of the neck while the clenched hands were across the face.
Poor Daniel was out cold for the rest of his last moments.

I wonder if the fact that the boy was retarded had anything to do with it being easier for him to kill him since it sounds like this was an ongoing source of problems in the marriage. These things will never be known or what on earth went through this man's head during this tragic time, and how could he string these awful acts over two days!
I think Benoit did the most humane thing possible. He probably killed his wife in a rage, then he killed the kid because the kid worshipped his dad, and would otherwise have to go through life knowing his dad murdered his mother, and Chris would either be in jail or have to kill himself, leaving the kid alone in the world (yes, Benoit's parents or in-laws would've looked after the kid, but they didnt even know he was retarded). How do you expect a retarded kid to deal with something like that. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THIS FAMILY WAS GOING THROUGH. What Chris did was a COURAGEOUS act, but I don't expect you christian sheeple with your fake morality to have a deep understanding of life, death, or anything else, for that matter.
How could you say that killing one's own son is courageous? Murder is murder however you try to justify it.
This article is completely false and made up. He smothered the boy, it had nothing to do with his finishing move. People that write this stuff are as messed up as Benoit was in his final days (if not more).

His wife was tied up this entire time. After he snuffed out one innocent life he then turned his attention on his bound and gagged wife.
then in another ' see what you made me do ?' rage he choked her to death with a phone extension cord. This took place 18 or so hours later. She waited in the bathroom for 18 hours scared and worried for her life.
Eventually he came back. He was drunk and on coke and pain killers and out of control. If he were a dog we call it rabies. Someone should have shot him but nobody knew. This is a major and tragic timeline but this is the truth. Any other criminologist will tell you so. I really don't want to have to describe this again. It was not a brave or noble thing.

It is now being said that the son did not have mental retardation. Either way, there is never a reason to take an innocent life, except in the case of condo leaser rights. I would happily give him a dose of his own medicine and courageously end his life. I'm amused by losers like him that hide behind their computer saying these outrageous things. I can picture him now, and it's a pretty sad picture.

I appreciate and understand your POV but as I explained in chain of events.....as an official at the scene of the investigation. It's all science and estimated time of death coallation. There are other facts that cannot be divulged over the transcom but... if you read every headline from across the U.S. and Canada. The facts and evidence adds up. That's all I can say.

Chris will or maybe be a WWE Hall a Famer because of the many titles he won being on Smackdown, Raw , and ECW .Many WWE superstars remembered Chris in a special episode of Raw Edge,Chavo Gurraeroa,Ric Flair.All gave positive thoughts on Beniot.He was on several Wrestling brands New Japan Por Wrestling,WCW,ECW , WWF,and WWE .
