I thought Mel Siverback was killer and should have moved further than he did. I think people couldn't accept the gag of the gorilla suit. That's interesting as many people moved on because they were fat (and almost EVERY vestige of the age involved being fat and people's reaction to their being fat and so on) and Ant only moved along because of his gag: being ragingly gay (EVERY joke he told was about being gay, people's reactions to his being gay and on and on). How is THAT gag different than Mel Silverback's?
He was hilarious and even if he wouldn't have won the LCS competition, he certainly should have gone farther than he did as he was much funnier than a number of comics who moved along in the competition.
My opinion.
