The unassuming Welsh Carphone Warehouse employee Paul Potts, 36, has received the largest number of public votes with his phenomenal renditions of "Nessun Dorma" and "Time to Say Goodbye".

“You have managed to make me cry again," Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden told Potts after his renditions. “My grandad passed away this week and he would have voted for you, so I’m voting for you.”
Bookies Paddy Power is giving odds of 11/4 on Paul, 36, from South Wales to triumph in Sunday’s grand live final when viewers will pick the winner, according to The Sun (UK).
Another contestant, young Connie Talbot, six, from Sutton Coldfield, also stunned the viewers and judges with her rendition of the Garland standard, Somewhere Over The Rainbow.
Damon Scott, 27, from Andover and his monkey puppet Bubbles is also in the running.
Juding from the volume of emails we are getting from just the United States, Paul Potts is destined to be the next great star in the music world.
We love him, and are rooting for him across the pond.
The live semi-finals for "Britain's Got Talent" take place on ITV1 tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. Stay tuned here for the results.
