Simon Cowell even loved this little girl, a six-year old blonde with her two front teeth missing.  She sang a capella "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and made Amanda, one of the judges, bawl her eyes out on live television.

"Britain's Got Talent" is just like its reality cousin, "America's Got Talent," the same deal but different judges and accents.

Pretty and unpretentious Connie Talbot became the star of the latest round of auditions for Britain's Got Talent on Monday night.

Everyone was dead silent as six-year-old Connie gave a pretty marvelous rendition of Judy Garland's Somewhere Over The Rainbow in the third audition stage of the ITV1 talent show.

As the little girl sang it for all it's worth, all three judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan and the audience listened closely and her performance visibly affected Amanda the most.

The crowd gave a crushing applause and then it was time for the judges to dole out their verdicts.

"I thought you were fantastic," said Simon. "I only have one question: Was that really you singing?"

And with a resounding 'yes' from all three judges, Connie was through to the next round.

I've only seen the video.. it was a nice performance, though the song itself affects us. My worry is that Simon sees dollar signs when responding to her. It's too easy to exploit someone so young. All the media attention etc
