Good article about us, unbiased. One thing, however; we're not interested in 'closure'. We want a second season.

Logical scenarioMay 28th, 2007 - 17:43:14

A wise executive at any rival network should scoop up the producers and cast and keep the show going-I would. CBS will learn the hard way as their audiences dwindle even more as the numbers come in
-Nina...are you listening? That would be more fun an poetic justice than any 'closure' pap she mentions...

Daniel Myers - Baltimore Md.May 28th, 2007 - 18:30:41

After a slow start, “Jericho” was building a good deal of momentum and had become a truly enjoyable program. It was with a good deal of surprise that I heard it was cancelled as it had become a “must watch” program for myself
and many others in the Baltimore, Md. viewing area. In addition to the MILLIONS of regular TV viewers watching each week on normal TV, there are quite a few people who had started watching the show mid-season and were
“catching up” on earlier episodes either online or via cable on-demand services… or simply awaiting the summer re-runs to catch those earlier episodes. Now CBS simply says 'Sorry!.. CANCELLED!' and plan to replace it
with another mindless reality show. BLECCCH!! 'Jericho' dealt with some interesting issues about about how the survivors of a nuclear attack on the U.S. cope with a new reality... banding together and working together ...or
descending to baser instincts. This story had some great areas to explore and was a program CBS could have been very proud of long after its initial broadcast. This program certainly had become very popular in this area and
makes me wonder if our Nielsen ratings system is somewhat obsolete nowadays... Life will go on without this program, but do we really need more 'reality' programming and crime dramas???! Hopefully the folks at CBS will re-consider continuing this program for a second season… and create a win-win-win
result for CBS, its sponsors, and all of the cast, crew and MILLIONS of viewers.

Nice article. Kudos.May 28th, 2007 - 19:10:06

First off, I want a second season of Jericho. Next, an apology from the network for the hiatus and implying that fans were to blame for the poor ratings. I will thank CBS (though it pains me to do so) for having the 'nuts' to pick Jericho up for pilot, and keeping it on the air until the finale, even when the FLAWED ratings took a dip. Some networks would have yanked it when it was at 8 million viewers (according to the messed up Nielsen system). So for that, I am thankful. However, I will not relent, nor stop writing, posting or sending nuts until I see Jericho on the fall schedule.

For anyone who is not a Jericho fan, but a tv viewer who has experienced the frustration of having their favorite show yanked off the air too soon (Firefly, Drive, Invasion, Surface etc) you are welcome to join in the fight. The more nuts the better. It is the best $5 you ever spent.

I must say this campaign to bring back Jericho can be exciting at times. I hope we win and get season 2.

I will also add that Clarke Ingram is not the person who started the 'Nuts' campaign, although for the life of me he keeps throwing his name out there to get credit. Shame on Clark. Give credit where Credit is due.

The nuts campaign was started by a woman named Michelle from Sinking spring PA and the nutsonline.com website reflects that fact.

I hope this campaign is succesful and I hope that people like Clark give the credit where the credit is due.

As a real fan of Jericho I must say I was devastated by the news that Jericho was cancelled. The endevour we now have embarked on will show the networks that THEY are not the one's to tell us what to watch. We are individuals and we choose ourselves what to watch!
This is the time we take a stand and tell CBS our opinion.

Nuts to you CBS! Bring Back Jericho!

Good article. Fans are ready to make this Save Jericho campaign a marathon, not a sprint. If CBS thinks we're annoying now, wait for the uproar over being denied a 2nd season. TV movie will NOT do. I will stop watching you CBS if you do not renew. I will be eternally agree at your networl.

I was in shock and very sad, when I heard that CBS had canceled Jericho. Finally a great show that caused us to think about things besides who sings or dances the best. No offense to those of you who enjoy American Idol or Dancing with the Stars, because I enjoyed them as well. It is just that Jericho caused all of its viewers to look deep inside and think.. okay if this happened here...where I live, how would I react, what would I do? Jericho is a show with great actors, actors who cared about the kind of show they were a part of. For the life of me, I can't understand why CBS put Jericho on a hiatus in order to keep from airing repeat episodes during the spring. That is the way tv shows have been done as long as I can remember, so why change now? Please bring Jericho back to us. CBS, please look past the numbers and do the right thing by giving Jericho another chance. We are faithful and loyal viewers and we miss this show very very much. Thank You.

Jericho is a great show about the struggle of families and community to hold society together in the face of a catastrophe, while resisting opposing forces who want to take everything they have left, including their lives.

Jericho is also a show that pulls together families to watch it. I think CBS has underestimated the number of people watching this show, and how much we care about what happens to Jericho.

Save Jericho!!!

Carolyn
