Donald Trump approves EPA/ANDREW GOMBERT

Never predictable and always with something to say, mogul Donald Trump has made comments regarding the recent Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck fracas.

The Donald sided with Rosie regarding her stance against the war and the current adminstration.

After the two women's recent blowout on "The View", Trump comes on the attack against Hasselbeck.

The Donald told TV's Extra, "On this one I think Rosie should win. I think anybody that's against the war in Iraq is the winner of the fight, because to justify the war in Iraq - only an imbecile could do that."

At least the Donald says it like it is for himself-he is man enough to see the truth regarding this criminal war and all our fine service people dying for NOTHING, the situation worse, and Bush lying and Cheney the corporate whoremaster for his rich industry titan cronies.

Rosie is ot my favorite, but she and DOnald are DEAD ON right about this travesty, why more Americans aren't fuming mad is beyond me.

Once again the Donald is playing fast and loose with the facts. Rosie wasn't being berated for being against the war, the Donald was right about only an imbecile would be for the war. Rosie was rightfully being taken to task for refering to our brave US soldiers as terrorists.

Elisabeth is a die-hard Bush lover, and refuses to acknowledge anything negative involving him or have an open mind on policies of any kind. According to her, Bush's word is sacred! I'm not so sure, though, it's great to have the 'Donald' in your corner - ha!

Rosie substitutes volume for logic. She seems to think if she outshouts her opponent then she automatically 'wins'. Perhaps a few facts would help her position, and stengthen her stance and then she could tone down her need to outshout everyone when she obviously knows she cannot out-think them. She is a very bright and intelligent woman. It is time to use those skills in her debates and stop being such a manifestly uninformed bully.

For once Donald makes sense. The war and the money we are using to support it
are stupid. Especially bully Bush! After we leave they will be to there own devices. (In Iraq) To me it is the sooner the better we get out of there.

Dear Robert D. Hutchins: consider that one of the lesser forms of argument is the *ad hominem*. it makes no difference to genius or imbecility of bush's policies that rosie o'donnell is a loudmouthed dyke, or that the hasselbeck or hasselhof woman is a horrible, spiky shrew.

bush's policies get to stand on their own merits; and on these we see that for our $400B or $500B we've plunged an entire region into a quagmire that's one crisis away from a wider regional conflict; a well-deserved reputation as a ham-fisted, self-serving, and incredibly cynical 'superpower' that puts its own interests above all other possible interests anywhere in the world; and a military that's been shredded and has become functionally useless, should it be called to act anywhere else, in any scale at all.

these policies have yielded *no* return on our investment and, in actual fact, have provided the enemy with aid and comfort.

Yea, Its really not that important. People should be focusing more on what is actually happening over there, rather than spending time worrying about what some stupid celebrity thinks about it. Form your own opinions people!!!!

All this argueing is not going to stop the war this greedy idiot started, writing/calling/faxing/camping outside our leaders doors may do it. It's time to ACT and quit yaking about it so much. Oh by the way, I side with Rosie, Liz is part of the 'Brain-washed' sheep club.

i think you are confusing 'ad hominem arguments' with a critical eye toward the methods at which someone (Rosie) reached her conclusions. If a psychotic Bush-hater is against the war I wouldn't put much value in their arguments even if I ultimately agree with them. If a Klan member is against hate crime legislation I might agree with them but I wouldn't seriously consider their arguments because I would know that they have ulterior motives. As a result, I don't care what arguments Rosie or Donald are recycling from various blogs/crappy news programs because they have none of my respect as knowledgeable commentators.

Everyone knows what a twit Elizabeth Hasselbeck is and also how rude and arrogant she is. I support our troops 100%, but does she have three nephews and a niece over there or does she even have any family member over there. I lost my first husband in the Viet Nam War and it was senseless. How dare that rude arrogant blonde witch attack Rosie. Rosie is definitely 100% RIGHT. Ms. Hasselbeck needs to get a life. She is not as cute as she thinks she is; she is just an opinionated little twit that really needs to check all of her sources before shooting her mouth off. Why they have her on the View I will never know. Bad choice there Barbara and Ms. Veira. Bad, bad choice with Elizabeth. I saw the show that day and when Rosie leaves the show I am definitely going to stop watching it. I pray that Rosie gets a new show of her own. Everyone picks on her because she speaks her mind, but usually it is for a good cause and she always can backup what she says. She reads and studies and goes to the sources. I do not care that she is a lesbian, nor do I care if she is a little overweight. God made all of us and if he made us all the same what a boring world this would be. I have one question for Ms. Hasselbeck, 'WHEN DID GOD DIE AND PLACE YOU IN CHARGE'??????? I am a 64 year old Mother, Grandmother and Wife and I just do not care for Ms. Hasselbeck at all.

Hasselbeck is dumb but she is cute. And anyone who is judging Rosie on her sexual orientation is unable to look at the situation objectively... kind of like whoever called Hasselbeck not cute. It's a cheap shot at someone with whom you disagree. I realize that objectivity is hard but it does strengthen your argument.

hello! does no one remember elisabeth saying to rosie that its easier to fight with trump because he is obnoxious?? he is trying to look objective and mature, but I think trump is just defending himself, in his true fashion. he is correct about having to be an imbecile to support the war, but he's still not a reasonable moral compass for the country!

For sure, who would have ever thought you'd see the day he'd agree with 'I can shout louder than you and won't let you get a word in edgewise' Rosie. Now, let's see if she can be gracious enough to accept his words with something other than her usual snarky remarks. If that happens, I'll be totally astounded.

Who cares?May 25th, 2007 - 17:10:36

Why is our nation so obsessed with what 'celebrities' say? They are not even close to being the smartest people in America. Being on TV doesn't make anyone an expert on anything. Find out what Americans believe, we don't care what a fat lesbian, an air head conservative, and a backrupt businessman with a really really bad combover are saying. They do not matter!

Celebrities shouldn't all be judged alike anymore than anyone else. There are some very intelligent people out there who just happen to be celebrities. That shouldn't define who they are anymore than being a gay person should define who they are. All celebrities aren't like a Paris, Lindsey or 'gasp' Britney! A lot of them have stood up for good causes and have put their money where their mouth is so to speak.

Rosie hates Bush and the facts be damnedMay 25th, 2007 - 18:15:47

Rosie has been rightly taken to task for her hatefull lies about our president and our troops. She is sedicious and should be removed from the airwaves faster than Imus (waiting for her sponsers to demand that but I think they are to frightened of the gay lobby to try and remove one from TV). She stokes hatred and emboldens our enemies and does not care that bolstering our enemies puts American soldiers at risk (like she cares about American lives). She has no idea how to fight terrorism and simply wants us to live with our heads in the sand about the intention of these islamiscist. Does she even realize that she would be right behind all the Jews in the line for execution if Al-queda wins, they do not tolerate homosexuality. As for her statement that President Bush planned the 9/11 attacks to have an excuse to attack Iraq is insane, hateful and totally unsubstantiated, maybe she pulled of 9/11 to try and sabotage Bush's presidency (that makes as much sense).

Thank you God...

Rosie is off the TV
The view may now get some reality
Good by to me, me, Rosie

Who knows the view MAY become real
People can now talk about how they feel
Without Rosie shouting, and being a leftist shield

Stupid nonsense rants end
common sense will no longer bend
Truth MAY prevail once again

Mr. Trump moved up a notch with me regarding his support of Rosie on this one.
Elisabeth had it coming. It is ovious to anyone other than closed minded people that Rosie did not mean our troops are terrorists. Duh. She has been in support of the troops and has said it on the show over and over. She, like most thinking, logical, people know the administration is dead wrong on its policies and the war is wrong. Period. Has anyone noticed that ever since E.H. came back from the State dinner she was invited to, she has had a noticeable 'almighty power' about her - a big chip on her shoulder? I am not surprised that she came out so obnoxiously against Rosie. I don't blame Rosie for quitting the show early......she came out on top of this one.....good luck to Rosie.

So were are the 'we deserved to be attacked on 9-11' comments? Isn't that the next step in this train of intellectual idea's. Do you people realize you are defending a religion that for the most part want's you dead? They are telling you to your face everyday. I guess you people are to busy supporting the troops aren't you. ???? - get your head out of the sand.

By calling out troops the 'terrorist' or even implying such is giving propoganda for the enemy, who uses said material to inflame and recruit, resulting in more risk for our troops. Such an act is sedicious, and if we didn't live in a society which is destroying correctness for 'political correctness' she would have been arrested for sedition.

Saying you dislike our policy, disagree with the President, don't want war, whatever, is a perfectly fine debate, but to state lies about our troops and our President, especially when you have a national TV forum (the View), a disgusting abuse of your freedoms, and I hope Americans speak with their pocketbooks and biycott Rosie.
