'The Simple Life' scuttlebutt: Nicole morphs into diva monster?

Nicole Richie, rumored to be on the outs with her boyfriend Joel Madden, currently is also the object of intense scrutiny by TMZ.com.
The hot, Harvey Levin gang at TMZ report that Miz Richie is "the real bitch" on "The Simple Life" set, not the usual suspect and soon to be inmate, Paris Hilton.
TMZ's super secret sources claim during taping of their fifth season, "Nicole turned into a monster."
According to their snitches, Nicole would "show up hours late and tell producers they only had 'an hour or two' to shoot her."
Says TMZ: "It all came to a head when on the final day of shooting she again showed up late and gave them an impossible deadline. Producers had to get her agent on the phone in order to keep her on set."
No response from camp Richie to TMZ yet.

This lame show is so ridiculous it's an embarrassment. Nicole and Paris couldn't act their way out of a paper bag if their lives depended on it. They both act bored to the hilt.
