This comes as no surprise for ABC (all but color) I will miss George ! I will not miss ABC ! If you are an advertiser on any ABC program ,the public will have to put you on the same page with these ABC neanderthals.

I'm not surprised. While George Lopez's standup comedy is sharp, biting, even daring, his sitcom was all-too pedestrian. I don't know why he'd want to continue with something as soul-destroying as that show, even if it meant more representation for us Latinos in the mainstream media. I think what we need to do is to reach for the heavens and search for representation that is complex, nuanced, and tasteful, not the usual U.S. sitcom claptrap. And I think that if George Lopez wants to do the TV program thing again, perhaps he should strive to push the envelope a little more, maybe with something more intense and true to his standup. BTW, lasting until a program is eligible for syndication is a pretty damn good thing, especially these days. Lopez (and exec producer Sandra Bullock) should be proud of the fact that it lasted this long, what with the state of broadcast TV programming and all.

Shut up you whiny little beaner. Take your played out chicano lowrider bandana wearing kacki ass back to the Hollywood ghetto and make way for some full on laughter. And by the way, tell the 171 people that lost their jobs due to your lame ass show, that the door will be open wider from Cavemen in a a few months.
