Geri Halliwell is set to host her own primetime TV chat show.
The former Spice Girl will make a pilot programme in the next few weeks and if it proves popular, she could land a peak-time weekday slot with British broadcaster ITV1.
A source said: "It really early days, but the idea is that Geri could really get to the heart of issues with her guests. The show could be massive."
Independent firm Talkback Thames have confirmed they are in talks with Geri over the format of the show.
It is hoped Geri will be able to persuade her apparent plethora of celebrity friends including former bandmates Victoria Beckham and Mel B, British singer George Michael and comic actor David Walliams to appear on the show.
The 34-year-old, who gave birth to daughter Madonna Bluebell last year, is currently writing a series of children's books.
Last week, Geri joined Victoria, Mel B and pregnant Emma Bunton in London for Victoria's husband David's 32nd birthday celebrations.
The girls reportedly discussed reforming after they were asked to consider staging a Christmas comeback show.
Mel C - who did not attend the party - is also said to be open to the offer after meeting her former bandmates at the christening of Geri's daughter Bluebell last month.
