Wilmer Valderrama and FremantleMedia in business

"American Idol" co-producer FremantleMedia North America has inked a first-look production pact with actor and producer Wilmer Valderrama, known for "That '70s Show".
Valderrama's WV Enterprises - with production partner Danny Villa - will develop variou projects for Fremantle for worldwide distribution according to Variety. WV is setting up shop at Fremantle's Burbank offices.
Fremantle North America CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz called Valderrama and Villa "gifted producers with a keen sensibility for entertaining content that appeals to their generation."
MTV's "Yo Momma," was created by Valderrama. WV is developing the film "PartyBuddys" for Universal Studios reports Variety. Valderrama is also cast as Ponch in Warners' film remake of "CHiPs."
The entrepreneurial kid from Venezuela can also claim "fashion designer" to his growing list of impressive accomplishments. DNR reports Valderrama is "setting his sights on the young men's fashion market."
Valderrama plans to launch a "Latino-inspired" men's label called Calavena.
