All of the generation X and Y types saw what real talent is and was last night on American Idol- even from a performance 39 years ago - Elvis again showed America what true stage presence and vocal range is all about - it was an amazing display of technology - glad that all of the kids had a chance to see why he is still the King.

Wow! What a fabulous performance! I was truely touched by the singing and the song 'If I Can Dream' performed by Celine Dion and Elvis. It inspired me and honestly made me dream of a better day for us all. It was a great idea and I'm so glad it was part of such an important program. Seeing Elvis on stage with Celine Dion was magical for me. I enjoyed it more than words can say. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Thank you to those responsible for putting it all together. I'll remember it always.

I can not stop talking about the Celine and Elvis duet. It only makes me wish I had been able to enjoy him when he was alive. There will never be anyone like him.

What a magical moment!!! Although that was not Elvis Presley's most popular recording it just happened to be my favorite. It was a truely amazing moment and deeply touching. Celine Dion continues to show the world she is one classy lady! Superb! I too am glad the young audience of American Idol got to see true talent. Elvis still rocks!!!

That performance was overwhelming to me. I replayed it and taped it so I can see it whenever. Absolutely brilliant and it showed how Elvis was such an original that no one will ever be able to copy or replace. Very emotional to watch.

Watching the duet, it reminded me why Elvis was the 'King'. Even towards his last days, his voice still had the ability to make women swoon. Great song, great duet, great night of entertainment.

A song with meaning, with words you can understand and relate two, with no vulgarity and sung by two great voices. That is what music should be and why
many of us will always remember the King fondly.

I am a big fan of Céline Dion and I just loved her performance with Elvis.

What a great moment to watch, what a great song to hear... I have had in my head since...

I hope they will make a video out of it and sell it... They should also record that song. I would buy right away.

Two great singers together. What a treat!

I am 64 years old and I grew up an Elvis fan, of course!

I was so impressed with the 'duet' by Celine with Elvis. This performance was fantastic beyond words. I recorded it and my husband and I have already watched it numerous times. I get chills when I watch it. Elvis has never been 'replaced' and most likely never will be. He had talent like no other. Celine did a great job.

Technology is wonderful most of the time but this was monumental!!!

...the performance brought back memories and tears for the longing of days gone by, but a hope for the future. For today's generation, seeing Elvis of the past, and Celine from today ahould make them realize that mankind has in the past, does so today, and will in the future always hope and dream for a better world for our children.

Elvis was my favorite (and still is) - he and Celine moved me beyond words. Whoever thought this duet up should have a medal. Unfortunately I was so overwhelmed (and in tears) watching the performance that I didn't think to turn my recorder on. I'm sure this will be released soon and I can't wait to buy it.

WOW! I have no words that can describe what I feel...that was awesome!! I have loved Elvis since I was little but never got to see him in person because like Celine I was not born until 1968. I would have loved to see him in person like my sister did!!! But this was just amazing, just goes to show you that Elvis is still very much alive in all of us and always will be! His talent lives on. I loved it so much I watched it over and over...Great Job AM!
