Alec Baldwin has pre-taped an interview with Rosie O'Donnell for ABC's "The View" and inside sources tell Matt Drudge he is wanting out of his tv series "30 Rock."
O'Donnell, according to Drudge, told the audience off-camera that this will be the actor's sole interview.
"He is leaving the country," said O'Donnell to a stunned audience according to Drudge's source. No clarification on the length of time, or where he was planning on going was given.
According to Drudge-O'Donnell "advised Baldwin against doing the interview."
Drudge outlines the events as they were taped, including another apology from Baldwin and the mention he wanted out of his current television show:
"I have been in the business for over 27 years and I don't care if I do anything else in TV ever again."
As we reported yesterday, Baldwin left his agency, CAA, on Monday.
