Heather Mills voted off Dancing with the Stars

Heather Mills was voted off US TV show 'Dancing with the Stars' last night (24.04.07).

Heather - who wowed the judges with her fancy footwork despite having lost her left leg below the knee - was well prepared for her exit, producing a farewell speech from her cleavage.

Heather said: "We knew we were going out. We were in the bottom two last week. We're not surprised.

"But we've raised a fortune for our charity, and hundreds of thousands of animals' lives will be saved."

The 39-year-old - who had a special flexible rubber prosthetic limb made for the show - thanked her professional dance partner, Jonathan Roberts, along with the show's orchestra, make-up artists, costume designers and fans.

During her time on the show Heather won the approval of judge Bruno Tonioli, who told her: "One, two, three legs, I don't care how many - you did a fantastic job."

Heather, an ardent animal rights campaigner, embarrassed herself recently when she preformed an impromptu foxtrot in the aisles of a trans-Atlantic flight in an attempt to entertain passengers.

Heather was flying from Los Angeles to London when the entertainment system broke down during the 10 hour journey.

She and Roberts tried to cheer up the disgruntled passengers, but failed to amuse them and the routine was greeted with silence, not applause.

One passenger said: "We weren't in a good frame of mind because of the broken entertainment system.

"When the dance routine, which moved from first-class to economy, finished, no one clapped because we were all in such a bad mood."

A spokesman for airline Virgin Atlantic said the dance routine was Heather's idea. They also added that all passengers had received compensation for the lack of entertainment on the flight.
