Neither groundbreaking or cutting edge, the middle of the road comedy hit "The King of Queens" proves there are comfort food levels in sitcom comedy that still work, now the show is reaching its 200-episodes milestone.
Likeable actor Kevin James and his "wife" Leah Remini are the King and Queen of sitcom couples, now that Ray Romano's "Everybody Loves Raymond" show is no longer up.
In episode No. 200, with Doug and Carrie having a minor crisis when they discover friend and co-worker Deacon, played by Victor Williams and wife Kelly, played by Merrin Dungey have bought a 2nd home for getaways. A classic comedic green-eyed premise.
"King" has been a steady ratings staple to the CBS Monday lineup, and returns there for its remaining seven episodes.
