I'm assuming you are an English gentleman so I wont hold that against you. What I will do is tell you to take Simon back from whence he came. This whole load of crap (American idol) is the invention of an English idiot, not much unlike yourself.

Good Day

No, no, no, that guy who commented here can't be English, he can't even write English properly. And if he is we'll disown him. Must be Australian.

I am a die-hard A.I. fan, only missed the first year. Simon is honest where the others are not. I find myself agreeing with him most of the time. Paula either talks about how nice a contestant looks or how good they are. Randy, although honest as well, and I like him, has to get rid of the dog; he is very hard to take seriously.

This year is a disappointment from a talent aspect. This is the first year I am actually happy to see people leave.

Predictions: (in order of favorites)

Jordan will be in the final three. She my be the upset of the year (teen vote)
Lakisha and Melinda will be in the final three, and Melinda will end up being the backup singer for Lakisha's band.
Blake will open his own music studio and forego performing altogether.
Gina will become the replacement lead singer of a huge band and will become a household name.
Haley will go on to become a Disney movie singer (out of her league).
Justin Timberlake (never can remember his name, but we all know who I am talking about) will join a boy band and fade away.
The bald guy (forgetable)will open his own line of hats, out of business in a year.
Sanjay will market mohawk wigs and become a millionaire so he has enough money for his sex change operation.

Though Simon C. is oftentime's America's 'not my bowl of rice', i.e. not their cup of tea, Sanjaya is becoming America's 'bowl of rice'! Sanjaya is frankly, one of the few reasons to watch this seasons's AI. Otherwise, with the array of boring finalists, it's dull, dull, dullsville!

This year AI can not avoid to show the lack of talent of the contestants. Melinda is the winner, and mohawk head is the filler for the next following weeks because the other contestans are so boring or bad singers, without mohawk would be so obvious the disaster of this AI. Nothing compared to last year, were most of the contestant were so talented and good performers.

Without Simon Cowell, there would be no American Idol. He's the only real judge there. And without Sanjaya Malakar, there would be no viewership this season. He's the only reason to watch the show. I hope America keeps voting for him.

You go Sanjaya. He is one of the brave ones who don't care what people say about him. He is SANJAYA and I really do think he has a good voice. One of his numbers reminded me of Michel Jackson with his smooth voice. By the way, if he is TS, I know that things will work out for him. I know, it worked out for me. MS. KAREN go go go Sanjaya

People magazine quoted chris as saying this was his 3rd time audtioning for Idol...didn't want to stay in? that's just being a sore loser. He sucked last week...he has a better voice than that. He just needed to stop and breathe a bit so he wouldn't be so off tempo.

And who doesn't know police songs and then chooses it for your song? He's just making excuses....I used to like this guy..but his attitude took him down.

ok...You guys need to face reality..Sanjaya is the worst singer and people only vote for him because of Votefortheworst.com! His smile scares me and what is with the hair! I think Melinda, Lakisha and Jordan deserve to win american idol! People think It's funny to vote for the worst to make the judges mad and iratated! WHo is going to buy Sanjaya's Cds? I'm not and I don't think you should waste your money on something you are going to hate....It's wrong! We all have our own opinions and I consider mine deeply! YOu should think about your's too!

With Chris Sligh gone American Idol has lost the only really interesting contestant they had. I tuned in to see how he did. While I recognize that the female contestants have stronger and more experienced voices, he had personality and potential. Actually, I love his voice and really wanted to see how he developed. The trouble is that the judges like a particular singing style and anyone different has a hard time getting a kind word. Witness Taylor Hicks last year. If Simon could have stopped him winnig he would have. He still doesn't get that Taylor wasn't just a singer he was an entertainer and people loved him. Chris Sligh had that potential.
Carry on Chris. There's a lot more than me think you can be a success.

Sanjaya sucks!Mar 31st, 2007 - 20:47:13

Why would you vote for someone who sucks it up every week?
He wants to be agirl and work at hooters just like his sister!

Chris didn't deserve being slammed by Simon at this point in the show, although Simon is probably right-on most of the time, he doesn't need to be nasty but I guess that draws viewers. Paula seems to be at a loss for words most of the time and yo yo dog needs to learn some new words.

I agree with Addie, Chris's attitude took him down, I would never have admitted that I was tired from all the work, and would never have agreed with the judges that I was off tempo, I would have pressed forward and said I did GREAT, he needs a shot of self confidence, he has a good voice.
