The National Geographic Channel has revealed new series with plans to produce 300 hours of original programming as part of the 2007-2008 television season.
NGC's new titles include:
Critical Situation premieres June 5th as viewers look beyond the story of some of the world's most dangerous situations using eyewitness accounts and expert testimony.
Taboo premieres July 2007; one-hour series explores why customs vary by culture.
The Building premieres fall 2007; this limited series will watch as a residential skyscraper is constructed in downtown Los Angeles.
Inside the date is TBA, a new series that discovers what's behind interesting topics and areas that are rarely uncovered such as Alcatraz prison history.
Ultimate Factories the date is TBA; viewers will be given a secret look inside such factories as Harley-Davidson and Ferrari.
The Dog Whisperer comes back in September, as well as new episodes of Explorer and Naked Science this fall.
