Loken saves the masses with 'Painkiller Jane'

Sci Fi network is unleashing a new adrenaline-fueled series, "Painkiller Jane," starring Kristanna Loken, debuting on Friday, April 13, following the mid-season returns of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis.
Based on the comic book created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, "Painkiller Jane" follows the adventures of Jane Vasco, played by Loken, described as a kickass heroine with amazing self-healing powers. Formerly a tough DEA agent, Jane is recruited by a covert government organization tasked with capturing "Neuros" genetically-enhanced individuals who possess superhuman powers of the mind.
Loken as Jane discovers that she also possesses extraordinary abilities abilities that render her impervious to injury, but not pain. She develops miraculous regenerative powers, healing from injuries that leave her stronger than she had been before. As she continues to work with the government to hunt Neuros, Jane tries to uncover the cause of her own transformation and what if any connection she shares with the very people she is pursuing.
The leggy New Yorker was a supermodel with Elite at one time, and her breakout film role was in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, released in 2003.

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a breakout role for Loken. Maybe she could become 'Miss SCI FI Channel' in my book now that Katie Sackhoff is off Battlestar (at least I think she is).
I'll be watching two weeks from Friday.
