Richard Dreyfuss: Sci Fi's Tin Man?

Outspoken actor and strong proponent of civics classes being stressed in American school curriculum, Richard Dreyfuss may be returning the small screen as he signs to join the cast of Sci Fi Channel's miniseries Tin Man from RHI Entertainment. 02/25/2007 - Richard Dreyfuss - 17th Annual

02/25/2007 - Richard Dreyfuss - 17th Annual "Night of 100 Stars" Oscar Gala - Beverly Hills Hotel - Beverly Hills, CA © Glenn Harris / Photorazzi"Tin Man" is a new take on the original novel The Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum.According to Hollywood Reporter, Dreyfuss will play a wizardly character called Mystic Man who resides in the Outer Zone, aka O.Z.. Actor Alan Cummings is also appearing in Tin Man, playing Glitch, one of the three who join Dorothy, known in this rendition simply as DG, who are all on a trek to see the noted wizard, Mystic Man. Tin Man is scheduled for a December premiere.
