Paris Hilton sticking with Simple Life
Oct 18, 2005, 13:05 GMT
Paris Hilton has revealed she is still filming the next series of 'The Simple Life' - despite the show being axed.
Bosses at the Fox network pulled the plug on a third series of the popular programme - which saw Paris and former best friend Nicole Richie causing mayhem as they tried out different jobs across America - blaming a crammed schedule.
The hotel heiress now claims the pair, who reportedly fell out after Nicole showed Paris' infamous sex tape, 'One Night In Paris', at a party, are going ahead with the programme and plan to sell it to the highest bidder. She said: 'We're shooting November 1. All the networks are fighting over it.' Despite blaming scheduling problems, rumours were rife Fox decided to axe the show because Paris and Nicole refused to end their long-running feud. Bosses of the show initially wanted to film the pair separately as they made their respective wedding plans but were forced to scrap the idea after Paris dumped her Greek shipping heir fiancé Paris Latsis. However, 20th Century Fox Television - the studio that produces 'The Simple Life' - is hopeful it can secure a deal for the programme with another US network despite the girls' ongoing feud. A spokesperson said: 'We believe this series is still a dynamic and valuable franchise. 'We hope to be able to announce a new network partner in the coming days.'Copyright 2005 BANG Media International
