FX series

FX series "Sons of Anarchy" is a Shakespearean-tinged drama about motorcycles, a fierce matriarch and 1% motorcycle mobsters that takes viewers inside the biker gangs and outlaw world. The Sons of Anarchy series features Golden Globe award winning Katey Sagal as Gemma and Ron Perlman as Clay, the married couple who head up the biker gang SAMCRO. Charlie Hunnam stars as Jax, Clay\'s main rival and Gemma\'s son.  The series heads to Ireland for the third ...more

Gemma (Katey Sagal) is pushed to the limits by the news of her grandson's kidnapping, and the after effects of putting her father Nate (Hal Holbrook) away in a nursing home.

The middle-aged anguish, squeezed by worry, caught in the middle and arrested, under the bug light of the crafty Agent June Stahl (Ally Walker) resigns our matriarch to make deals, inquiries and peace with her old man Clay (Ron Perlman) who loves his old lady so much, we feel for him every time Stahl enters or exits the hospital room.

So goes "Turning and Turning" - a pivotal point in the season three story that is ramping us up for the international baby grab, as Abel is tucked away in Ireland, and his frantic father Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is clouded with so much grief and anxiety, he locks it down, closes doors and pushes away the love of his life, Tara (Maggie Siff).

But Dr. Knowles is not an easy pushover. She is smart enough to read the big picture.

Their relationship grows more complex, interesting, and we see in Tara how she needs a mother figure now more than ever in her life.  Both Margaret Murphy (McNally Sagal) and Gemma step into this role in different ways, as Gemma wants a good woman for her son and grandson. Margaret knows Tara is a damned good doctor, and has more empathy for her as she learns more about the struggles Tara is dealing with.

On Tuesday October 5, with Episode 5, Turning and Turning. Things seem to be getting a whole lot worse for SAMCRO before they are getting better. With Gemma hospitalized and firmly in the clutches of Stahl, our Jax now has to figure out how to save his mother, son and club as time is seemingly running out, but our Jacky boy (say it like Chibs (Tommy Flanagan), dammit) is no dummy. There will be a plan.

Best light hearted comic relief? Chucky (Michael Marisi Ornstein) and Tig (Kim Coates) pull an undercover brother stealth intel recon mission for the Club, as Tig tells Chucky, "act Mexican."

Priceless scene ensues.
