Saturday, August 28th at La Cienega Park in Los Angeles, Disney hosted an outdoor screening and red carpet event to celebrate the new Disney movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue”, a sequel to the previous two Tinker Bell adventures.

The Disney Channel's “Shake It Up!” cast were there in full force to show their support for the charming Disney animated film that boasts talents such as Pamela Adlon (Louie, Californication) and Rob Paulsen (Pinky and the Brain).
This new show "Shake It Up! will be hitting the Disney Channel this fall.
The show was created by Chris Thompson (“Laverne and Shirley,” “Bosom Buddies,” “The Naked Truth,” “Action”) and executive-produced by Thompson and Rob Lotterstein (“The War at Home,” “Ellen”).
Newcomers Bella Thorne (Big Love), Kenton Duty and Zendaya were donning fairy wings

Their new show will center on two characters, CeCe Jones (Jones) and Raquel “Rocky” Blue (Zendaya), who dream of becoming professional dancers. They become background dancers on the most popular teen dance show “Shake It Up, Chicago,” and have have many on and off stage adventures. Dallas native Kenton Duty (Lost) is cast as Gunther, Adam Irigoyen (“Wizards of Waverly Place”) is cast as Deuce and Davis Cleveland (“Desperate Housewives”) as Flynn Jones.

All the Disney stars were in attendance to enjoy a night under the stars taking in “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue” in the magically transformed Los Angeles park.

Disney also arranged 16 food trucks to circle the event; the best of the best to cater to an all-star crowd that included Rick Fox, Gilles Marini, Chris Cornell, Paul Stanley and many others Hollywood stars with their children, donning complimentary fairy wings provided by Disney.
Spotted were Top Chef alum Brian Hill’s gourmet food truck, the Munchie Machine, The Grilled Cheese Truck, along with a number of Activity Stations for kids, including face painting, Tink tattoos, coloring stations and Radio Disney broadcasting live.
A number of fairies were milling about meeting with guests and celebs, including Tinker Bell, Vidia, Rosetta, Iridessa and Fawn.
On the carpet were Raven-Symoné, Michael Sheen, Dominika Paleta, Rob Paulsen, Brad Raymond, Helen Kalafatic, Rico Rodriguez, Ariel Winter, Bridgit Mendler, Cecilia Cassini, Jadin Gould, Kimberly Leemans and many more.

Also making their way down the carpet were director Bradley Raymond and producer Helen Kalafatic, both were excited about their latest effort and told Monsters and Critics "we're keeping the look and vision of Tinker Bell true to Mark Davis' original design, and this film is exciting because it is the first time Tink has any human interaction."

Raven-Symoné told Monsters and Critics she "was proud to be the first African-American Disney character" and "be part of such a timeless story, in a historic manner."

Our favorite celebrity encounter was with the beautiful Pamela Adlon who voices "Vidia." Pamela is a mother of three girls, a popular celebrity who has a rich voice-over career on top of her television roles as Marcy Runkle in "Californication" and producing hit FX comedy, "Louie." Adlon loved her career in voicing animated characters and was proud of her work on "King of the Hill." Adlon said, "If I could, I would do voice-over work forever. I love all my Saturday morning cartoon characters!"
