HBO "True Love" spawned the real-life romance and now marriage of its two lead actors, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
Paquin and Moyer wed in Malibu on Saturday night at a private residence.
Guests included friends, coworkers and family of Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, who exchanged their vows near the beach.
The couple have been an item for over a year, as the HBO vampire series is in its third season.
Paquin plays Sookie Stackhouse, a Bon Temps, Louisiana waitress with special supernatural gifts. Bill Compton is her Southern gent vampire lover (Stephen Moyer) and the two are embroiled in a push-pull love triangle currently on the series, based on the novels of Charlaine Harris, adapted for television by showrunner Alan Ball (Six Feet Under).
Paquin is an Academy Award winner, taking the 1994 Oscar as Best Supporting actress at age 11 for her role in "The Piano" with Holly Hunter, Sam Neill and Harvey Keitel.
UsMagazine previously reported their engagement, as Moyer proposed to Paquin on a Hawaiian beach, presenting her with a rustic diamond set in an antiqued platinum inset. He told Us: "There was a song in the first season, 'White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,' which was kind of funny and ironic," he told Access Hollywood last year. "[It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids," says the actor, who has a son, Billy, and daughter, Lilac, from two previous relationships.
