It's really a difficult decision. I like both of them and each brings a different style. Regardless, both of them should go on to have a successful musical career.

My personal opinion is that David Cook is the better performer. He's solid. David A has a great career ahead, but he needs some seasoning. Unlike Randy's constant assertation that David can sing the Phone book, War & Peace and The Book of Jobe, David A really isn't as versatile.

However, remember the old wisdom about talent shows. 'Kids and dogs my friend, Kids and dogs.'

Well, hmm.. it's kinda hard to tell which of those two wonderful Davids that will be the next American Idol. This AI season 7, my idols r Brooke White, David Archuleta & David Cook. Actually I've been liking Brooke n DavidC more than DavidA since the 1st week of AI7. But then when DavidA sang the Love In Tender, I began to like him more. Instead, more than DavidC. Well, both hav their own talents, their own beauty n their own versatile. Well, DavidA has a very fair voice that is rarely to be heard from a boy aged like him. DavidC in the other hand, is a multi-talented young man. Some people say he's resembling Chris Daughtry's husky voice. Well, yeah... DavidC has a husky voice, but there's something in his voice that makes it different from Daughtry's if u really listen to DavidC's voice. Believe me! Okay, I'm not in America so I don't really hav a say in voting. So I'm just hoping that Americans will pick the one that is really deserving the grand prize. Both r good for me. For sure, both will hav a very successful career at singing. All in all, I hope David Cook will be the next American idol but I expect David Archuleta wil be the next American Idol, if u get what I mean. Haha. Ok, if we look from the judges' side, DavidC will win. If we look from the fans' side, DavidA will win.

I'm from Utah, and I have loved watching David Archuleta perform on American Idol. He has an amazing voice! But, I think David Cook is more versatile and has greater depth. I believe both will be star performers, but David is ready to be this year's American Idol.

David A. has a beautiful voice, but at his age, he has plenty of time to hone his skill. David Cook is amazing, and to think he hadn't even thought about trying for AI 'till he went with his brother and then was encouraged to try out too.

David A and David C are like an apple and an orange. Musically different.
It's been obvious during the show last Tuesday nite that the producer is steering Cook to the winning position. Base on that, Cook will win. The only way David Archuleta will win is if his dedicated fans vote til the cows come home.

I would prefer Archuleta over Cook. There is something unique about Achuleta
that is rare to find, gifted voice and an adorable personality.

Really it does not matter at this point. They both are going to go on and have careers in the music ind. Whoever wins the SEASON is actually going to take a back seat to the runner up just like with Aiken and the fAT guy who sings r-n-b.

looks like an animated character. He has a big mouth and wide eyes and they get all squinty. He reminds me of SPEED RACER'S kid brother SPRIDLE from the 60's cartoon show. What a goofy looking kid.
He's queer too.

I think Cook should win in all fairness.
