So just because Jason has a unique voice you call it weak? It's a folk voice that he has. He doesn't have a lispy over-produced Archuleta voice, David Cook's album is doing better than Mariah's, and Syesha is in no way unique.
America is stupid and you have just proved that. David Archuleta has forgotten lyrics and so hasn't Brooke. I guess I'd be uneasy on this show as well if the judges were working overtime to get me to go home. One was even critiquing a song that wasn't performed. I'd definitely be done too. I'm sure it is better for Jason in the long-run that he goes home because whoever wins it will be the kiss of death like Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, and Taylor Hicks before.
The judges are there to judge - it's what they do - duh! And they know what they are talking about. They shouldn't be up there sugarcoating, otherwise what's the point. Jason mumbles his way through his songs and just doesn't have a good voice even to sing folk. He keeps acting like it's a big joke to be there or whatever. There are a lot of contestants who didn't actually win the title, but have gone on to be very successful. AI is a good place to showcase talent, and if they are any good, they will be noticed. Look at Daughtry - a great success for one.
Syesha would be good on Broadway, David Cook could be another Daughtry, and David A. could be another great crooner.
America is stupid? Sure hope you don't live here, acid tongue.
Jason chose a lame song and performed it lamely for one. He could've had a guitar player pluck and pick some nice folkey licks there while he clumsily strummed along. ANNND he forgot lyrics...so we now how this works right?
We know how this works ...right?
Is it me, or does he always act like he really doesn't care one way or another?
Jason shoul dhave been gone long ago. Ditto for sad Archuleta.
not David A. - he has a wonderful, rich voice. He isn't sad, he's just 17 - not as mature as the others.
David A. He overdoes everything and butchers songs with drawn out tiring
oooohs and aaaahs and whooaahh whooaahhhs. He is a fantastic parody of an excellent singer. It's almost comical...I was not moved by '' Love me tender'' I was laughing and they powdered his bottom once again.
Listen up folks and mark me here! HE WILL WIN THIS THING. Because it's fixed. I am a singer and I could blow any one of these children away.
The problem is I am 39 years old. So I make my money ( good money)
playing piano bars and fancy restaraunts in NY and Atlantic city...oh GOD the Comps are incredible.

Jason is way out of his element here - he has a weak voice, and it doesn't come through. The other three are great, but it will probably be down to the two Davids who have the most all-around appeal. I think all three should have great futures ahead of them.
