Deion Sanders has always been an idiot or pompous ass. We hated him in Atlanta. Now I have an even better reason - his utter disgregard for the suffering of the Michael Vick dogs.
In this article he clearly states that he knows other athletes that 'share the same passion' as Michael Vick. Well, why isn't he reporting them since it is illegal not to mention inhumane? Hello, HSUS can read this article?
He also compares the dogs fighting to Ultimate Fighting??? I wonder which one of Vick's dogs got paid to fight, and could leave the ring anytime they wanted? None. They did no have a choice to 'tap out' ...they had to fight until death, and if they lost, Vick and his cronies sadistically murdered them.
This is utterly disgusting. Why would Oprah have a show against puppy mills on Friday, April 4, 2008, and then be promoting a show with an inhumane and ignorant person like Deion and his vapid, dull wife Pillar the next week?
This show will die quickly anyway, but I'd like to see it jerked because of Deion's stupidity.
Dione Sanders is what his column is...shallow, self-centered and stupid. If he is so sure about all those athletes who are fighting dogs, then why isn't he man enough to name them. He's a coward, stupid person. I would never watch anything about him on TV, radio or in the sewer. No more Oxygen for me!
Get off my boy... How come when you see a man (or a black man) speak up you hate him? He was a football player and an entertainer at the same time....just like George Clooney. It’s a business….. The brotha is raising his kids in a Christian home and he is a loving father and husband.

i'm really glad to see that Oprah is open minded and supportive of differing points of view. Deion did not make these comments on Oxygen, so why should he be banned from having a show.
i'm tired of narrow minded people judging someone on their opinions-we all have a right to express ourselves.
i look forward to seeing Deion and Pilar on O. first, i wondered why them. after reading the interview, i really understand. i care much more about their family values than i do about one comment he made about dogs.
wake up people-dogs are not more important than people are. justice is not leveled fairly when an athlete does no time for manslaughter, yet another does time for allowing others to operate a dog fighting ring. we've got to wake up.
i don't expect people who kiss their dogs in the mouth, allow them to sleep in the bed with them, or i shudder to think what else they do with their dogs...to understand that you don't dismiss someone's worth over one comment.

It will be refreshing to see a reality show that will express Christian values.
I don't want to sum up someone by one comment that they made. All of us have said and done things that was not popular and maybe even controversial.
I look forward to seeing the content of the show in order to determine if this is something I will continue to watch.

I have always liked Deion as an athlete. He was very flamboyant and he added quite a bit to the game. Never did the flamboyance take away from his play. I am a fan of Vick's play as well although I did feel a loss of respect because of his incidents. I'm not saying that I'm perfect or anything like that. However, we know when our actions are ill-advised. He obviously knew as well as he created lies to cover the incidents whether he participated or not. As far as Deion is concerned, I feel that he put himself in the fire on his commentary. If he would've stuck with just Vick, most of these opinions wouldn't have been placed on here. Mentioning other athletes without mentioning names makes it hard for people because it's like knowing that your friends are killing people but you keep it to yourself. That is tied to the anti-snitching codes that are destroying us at this moment. I am a doglover myself. I hate to see animals abused so it does sadden me as well. However, Deion was making his opinions known. It shouldn't take away from the show. Behind closed doors, everyone has done something that they aren't proud of or that the general public doesn't approve of. I happened to see this show with my mother well over a month ago by accident. We both loved it and searched for it again to see if we could find it. There was a lot of love and laughter which is a part of positive family values. I'm all for Pilar and Deion. I just happened to be channel looking for something interesting to watch and I came upon this show. I thought it was cute, it really reminds me of the show Runs house, or the show about Snoop Dogg & his family. It kept me interested, I just would like to see just a regular family with real day to day struggles, that deal with bills, and not having lots and lots of money and showing how we cope on a smaller pay scale.

Congrats on your new show!!! I love it. It's fun. My sister and her husband live across from Troy Aikman's father off of Rhea Mills. When I visit them,I drive by your house all the time. I have often wondered what the house looked like and thanks to the show I do. It is beautiful!

Dogfighting is disgusting, yes that is true, but if you see the show which you probably wont because of your narrow minded views you would see that even though they have a lot of money and are famous people that they are extremely hands on with their children and very down to earth people. It is refreshing to see people with as much money as the Sanders to be so involved and worried about their children's upbringing. Its a great show!

I love, love, love the show. When I saw the preview of the show, I thought I'd never have an interest in watching. But I came across it yesterday and was draw by the 'cook-off'. It was hilarious. Can't wait to see it next week. Keep it going Dion and Pilar.

Finally, a site were I can comment on. I've loved Deion Sanders since my boyfriend introduced me to football during the 1993-1994 season in which San Francisco won the Superbowl. He is very charismatic and humorous. He definitely caught my attention during those early years with the NFL. His swagger, I loved, his personality, I loved, and so on. And lets not forget, he's not bad to look at.
When I heard that he was having a reality show, I was very excited. And since it began, I have had many laughs. It's a really great show, and I enjoy watching his wife too. You go girl!! You definitely need to be appreciated for the hardwork you do around that house. It aint easy.
Keep up the good work, and congrats on a wonderful, loving, and comic ridden show. I definitley looking forward to a second season. Good luck Mr. and Mrs. Prime Time.

I am a big Deion Sanders/NFL fan. In fact, I only watch 'The NFL Today' because of Deion. I like listening to his comments and checking him out every week in his sexy suits. My husband and I watched all 4 episodes back to back last night and WE LOVED IT. In fact, I couldn't stop saying to my husband how much Deion and Pilar reminds me of us. Deion is so loving and comedic (like my husband) and Pilar is a strong supportive wife and just loves to take care of her family (like myself). I can relate to Pilar: cooking, cleaning, taking our daughter to soccer practice and making sure homework is done every night. You go girl! I'm not one to post comments on line but I had to - to support Deion and Pilar. Can't wait for next week's episode...

Deion, Pilar Sanders and family are a hit in my house. My husband watched the show for the first time this week and thank God. It was the scene where Deion goes to the doctor for his over 40 check-up. It touched on issues that I think many men deal with everyday. Anyway, it encouraged my husband to make an appointment at his doctor to discuss a few issues that he was embarrassed about. I have been a fan of Deion since his Dallas Cowboy days. I was a cowboy fan because of you Deion. I love beautiful Pilar because she is holding it down and keeping it real. She is so funny and Pilar is not afraid of being vulnerable. She is very humble. Your children are beautiful and you both are raising them right. I love the interaction between the both of you. Deion you are a great example to many men. The chemistry is absolutely there. I was a huge fan of Deion's when he played for Atlanta. However, when the column he wrote in regard to Michael Vick and fighting dogs was published, it turned my stomach. If Deion had never made the comments as if dog fighting were nothing worse than littering, I would have been so excited to see this show. But not now...Deion rates right down there with Vick in my opinion, I would never support anything he has anything to do with now.
What Vick had been doing for six years can NOT be catorgorized as an 'incident' nor as a 'mistake'. It was one of the most vile, disgusting, sadistic, and despicable things anyone could ever be accused of doing, and for Deion to attempt to help us 'understand' Vick, is beyond all reasoning.
Deion, you really messed up when you put yourself out there with that column talking about one's PASSION for dog fighting. Could we just say that Jeffrey Dahmer had a passion for eating people? Should we say that John Wayne Gacy had a passion for young boys? Should we say the the BTK killer just had a passion for murder and torture? Get real, idiot, that was the worst PR move you EVER made when you wrote that column.
It is alright for people to voice their opinions. It makes things interesting. If everyone agreed on the same things the world would be a very boring place. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree. When did people get so evil and small minded, why are so many people hating on these people. I agree with Marsha. I also was absolutely flabbergasted when I read Deion's column in regard to Michael Vick. If what Vick has been doing in the offseason (drowning,starving, fighting, electrocuting, and hanging dogs) doesn't curdle your blood, then something is very wrong with you.
I see someone assumes that others are jealous if they are disgusted by those who would seek to defend a monster who would abuse dogs in such a fashion. That's par for the course, resort to 'oh, you're just jealous'. Well that's laughable. Maybe you should have some conviction or morals, then you would understand that those who would abuse animals and defend those who do are despicable, and it has nothing to do with jealousy. Too bad you equate everything to the material things that someone may have.
I will never watch this show, will never support anything Sanders does, after he made an effort to defend Michael Vick. Being black does not give one immunity, and Deion shouldn't seek to defend someone just because of their color, which is obvious what so many blacks did when Vick was exposed to be the monster that he is.

HI everybody. I have to say I agree with the last few posters. I, too, read Deion's column in defense of MV, and I must say it sickened me. Deion, for once, should have kept his mouth shut, even if he did feel sympathy for MV. Everyone IS allowed an opinion, true, but if you want to keep a fan base, it would be a smart move to not speak out in defense of a man who could have enjoyed any past time he chose with all his wealth, and he chose to fight and kill dogs using some of the most reprehensible methods imaginable. My kids had nightmares from seeing this stuff in the news, so, no it wasn't an immature act or one related to culture, it was a cruel and sadistic lifestyle that MV lived. By suggesting it was 'normal' for Vick to be participating in something as disgusting as dog fighting and torture, Deion put himself in the same camp as MV, which wasn't a smart thing to do. But, I suppose, Deion nor MV have ever been known for their intellect. Anyways, nope, I won't be watching this show either. I think I would have enjoyed it, if it weren't for the fact that now when I look at the face of Deion, I think of MV. And that's depressing, I don't want to be reminded of sadistic cruelty, and considering Deion's words in his column, I wonder too, if he had not particpated in dog fighting in his past.
Oops, me too. Not gonna watch this show because of Deion's support of MV. I will be boycotting everything Michael Vick, Deion, Clinton Portis, Marbury, DeAngelo Hall, Jamie Fox, Whoopi Goldberg, and anyone else who spoke out in defense of MV. They chose to associate their names with Michael Vick, I guess they felt big and brave and strong for doing so. But it wasn't a good idea, because there is a reason why so many commercials (esp during the SuperBowl) feature animals. My husband was watching this show the other day. I told him about the article that Deion wrote to explain Michael Vick and the horrible things he had done to dogs. He didn't believe me. I had to go online and drag it up for Charles to read. He was shocked, and promptly turned the channel. We talked about it later, and both wondered what Deion is doing when the cameras aren't rolling.
This is HILARIOUS- as I'm sure many of you participate or have friends and family that participate in HUNTING, MEAT EATING, HORSE RACE BETTING, etc....those things are NO DIFFERENT then what Mike is accused of, but I'm sure u will not see it that way. Love, Love, love, your show people are jealous of you because you have money they need to find their wealth and happiness sometime it's not all about the money it's your happiness and your show is very inspirational. I never watch any movie or T.V show twice until your show came on. Your relationship is what I wish I had in this 17 years of marriage, it's the happiness and the fun you have together. Anytime my husband and I have problems, I turn on your show and it lifts me up and put a smile on my face.

today i caught a glimpse of show and i was so agged about what i saw. its one thing to love your children and be there for them but they should be put on a schedule to allow mommy and daddy the play time and or personal,quite time without having their personal space invaded. only dad and mom should be in their own bed, and since the kids werent when and what age is the cut off for them.????

I love the show, I can't get enough of it and I have told all my friends about it and now they are also addicted. I am now watching clips at work on the internet and my daugther who is 21 and has been a BIG fan of Deion since age 4 is addicted also. The children is adorable, everything about the show is GREAT, I am so happy that you decided to do the show, and you are a beautiful couple. Keep the episodes coming.

I will never watch this show. Deion Sanders made a major mistake when he chose to defend Michael Vick. What Michael Vick did is beyond comprehension. There is no excuse for it, and for Deion to defend MV is also beyond comprehension. Vick & Deion both should fade into obscurity, we don't need icons in the forefront who would abuse animals in this fashion, nor those who would excuse those who do so. Deion took himself down when he wrote that ridiculous column defending Michael Vick and dog fighting. He will be lumped into the pile of NFL rejects and crime ridden thugs for the rest of his life now. I wonder what is going on with him when the camera's aren't rolling. Nope, I won't be watching this show, just because he defends a man who had all the money in the world, and fought dogs for his fun. I truly beleive that the two of you are a great man and woman of God. You show that couples can disagree without fussing and fighting. I love it because you never raise your voices. The best show for me was when Pilar and the kids went camping in the backyard, and she called for the cheif to bring things out to make them comfortable and they brought the bed. None of you KNOW Deion, you only know Prime Time, his alter ego. He is extremely smart, is very charitable and means well even when he messes up. Are you folks bashing him perfect? Ever done drugs/drank alcohol? He has not. Ever smoked? He has not.
Because you see him showboating to the endzone or clowning on NFL shows, you think you know the man. I went to college with him. Granted he was not on campus much, but in the early days he was as humble as could be and remained that way when you spoke to him although he made 70g's playing for the Yankees the summer before his senior year (of eligibility anyway).
He played a game to get big $$ in the NFL. Enter Prime Time, the brash, over-confident, arrogant person YOU believe him to be. He said it best when he discussed his reasoning. Deion said all the QB's and RB's and WR's were making bank for signing bonuses in the NFL. He brought attention to himself for business purposes and it worked better than nearly every critic he has.
Accomplishments:
Only person in the modern era to hit a major league homerun and score an NFL TD in the SAME WEEK.
At FSU he hit in the game winning RBI and, with his track uniform on underneath, he made it for the 440 relay where they set a state record with him running anchor leg.
He ran a sub 4.2 40 yard dash wearing a shell (shoulder pads and shorts).
He found God and has preached The Word.

I have never heard one teammate EVER question his work ethic and many say he was the hardest worker on the team in practice.
Though divorced from his 1st wife, he still is involved in his chldren's lives. Deiondra was even on one episode.
So what has he done to garner such hatred? He takes care of business and responsibilities unlike NUMEROUS sports stars. Is he the greatest role model? Certainly not in every dimension, but raise your own kids like he does.
Not liking his style of play or his antics is one thing, hating him is wasted emotion and foolish based on his true character. Mind your business like he has and you will be successful and a hero to the most important children in the world - YOUR OWN!

I have watched your show several times and enjoy it. I was just wondering if by chance, do you keep up with Mountaineer football since Noel stayed in your home a brief time. He is a great football player and you should be proud of him.
This show was the best reality show ever on TV and showed true love and family issues. There is no mention of breakups, name calling, violence, or cheating and displays what people want to see when it comes to how a marriage should look like with or without money. When is the next series to be aired?
