For moster movie lovers, PNS is going to be frustrating because the commercials for the coming weeks' 'all new episodes' only show the most freaky 'paranormal mini-scenes' which turn out to be nothing 95% of the time (except the episode when the demon revealed its name in the mind of Ryan and Chip). Others may not think it was freaky or believed it, but I did! I'm scared of that stuff. Ryan tried to conceal the demon's name, which A&E plastered in large red letters more than once, which begged the audience to rewind and descramble it if they couldn't identify it immediately when flashed on screen. Now that demon has more recognition from all of the PNS viewing audience (which Ryan did not want to give it). Did A&E tell PNS they were going to do that before that episode aired? How much control does PNS have in editing what A&E aires?

I have the feeling that Ryan did experience something very real when he was a child and still does. I would like to know more on the other members' hauntings of PNS too. Ryan is trying to find what in the world or out of this world was/is haunting him. Helping others who may have or think they may have had something similar is cathartic to him. I can't think of much worse that could happen. For example, if I, all of a sudden at age 23, saw wicked things when I went to bed and nobody believed I saw them, and thought I needed to see a doctor mainly a psychiatrist, I would be crushed, but not surprised. I am getting my MS in nursing at Clemson and most all of my friends and docs I work with would be looking only to science (most likely neurology or psychiatry), and most likely wouldn't believe in wicked entities anyway. I would go immediately and look for support from others who were experiencing the same terror, so we could try to understand it together and hopefully defeat it. A one-semester roommate graduated in December and I hate being all alone in this apartment now. I would probably try to spend every night with my semi-serious boyfriend. That could scare him away, and I am way too proud to admit I had scary spirits or demons haunting me and was scared to be alone at night. That would most likely scare him away immediately! I've lived mostly alone for almost 5 yrs. That would just be embarrassing. I see real guts and real death all the time and fall asleep 10 minutes after my shift is over. I am a skeptic, see things in black/white (no grays allowed in my brain) and I am really struggling trying to find the all-elusive faith in the Heaven or Hell destination. This show isn't helping. Looks like people get stuck all the time in other places after death other than Heaven or Hell. How much control do they have over their spirit if they have no body to encase their spirit and energy to draw out of living cells to move out of a place they don't want to be? See, I have so much trouble with faith. I can't turn myself over. Oh, what a bad patient I would be and what a struggle I have ahead of me.

I believe if Ryan and his crew really want to help others and don't care if A&E drops them because the show is not showing enough real demon possessions to capture enough of an audience to compete with CSI Miami which has the same time slot, then Ryan is the real deal.

There is no telling how far Ryan, with his good looks and great-sounding voice could go on the small screen if they (PNS AND A&E) just ratcheted the show up with fake demons and showed them for nanoseconds on TV and Ryan turned into the hero and made all the bad stuff, created by A&E, go away. This show already has credibility as being the real deal with real entities, mediums, demonologists, and the like to many people, and they would watch because they COULD not tear themselves away from real (good or bad) entities and seeing Ryan, the hero, and then spend 5 nights not sleeping again because of the fear of seeing a real demon or scary spirit. Then, that would open them up to actually being haunted, especially if they are a struggling skeptic who doesn't want to take the chance on closing the door to Jesus Christ and being a faithful follower when they are possibly being called. Then a real bad thing could find a crack in their psyche and move on in!

If this show ends up the way I just described, which I don't think it will, then Ryan is just making more children and adults afraid of what he was afraid of as a kid and open to actual hauntings. Then again, could evil be using Ryan Buell as a tool for their cause?? Sorry Ryan, but Satan is a deceiver and the biggest liar ever. You have women (most likely little girls) who are gaga over you already and want to marry you NOW. Your vulnerability, cute dimple in your right cheek (of your face), Capt. Kirk (in the late 60's) good looks, and deep voice, make you a bankable TV star, and A&E can offer you something you might not can refuse to get the ratings, except you are always going to have that entity to remind you what your purpose in life probably is. Never sell out! I don't think you started this several years ago anticipating A&E picking this up. So I don't think you could. You seem to be happy with life as is and not materialistic.

I don't care what anybody says, I love this show! And it's really cool that those guys are doing all of this non-profit! To me, this show is really about helping the families through what they're experiencing. They aren't there just to get the boogey man on film! Unfortunately that's what most people find entertaining, but I relish in the fact that the family will be better off and not as terrified as they were before the PRS team showed up. I mean, that's what I would want! I personally hope this show stays on the air and doesn't change! Morals, crew, or anything else!

I love watching Paranormal State more so than TAPS, I think that taps is a joke! I really believe in the supernatural very much so. I have had experiences in the paranormal which some have been negative & positive! I believe that the devil does exist and that GOD does too.I think people who are sceptical, have never had an experience that hits close to home. I feel sorry for people who have not had experiences, and the reason why I do is because they have never been touched by something, whether it be GOD or the devil! Anyone who has ever had a close relationship with GOD knows that these things do exist. Even having Psychic abilities of any kind are a GOD given gift, to use for the greater good; maybe to help lost spirits find their way or to help someone understand what they are going through and that they are not crazy. My grandmother had died 2 years ago and I know she comes to see me and the rest of the family but they choose not to aknowledge it. My dad had herd her ask him to come here and he just thought it was all in his head, but I told him that it was not in his head and that he should not blow it off! I have had experiences with demons and it is not fun or funny in any way. I just hope people who are sceptical don't have a negative experience, but maybe that is what it will take for them to really believe.
Paranormal State, I hope you become more successful in the coming years, and prosperous in every way, Ya are awesome, the best; keep it up!

Are you people kidding me? Ive seen a few people here say Ghost Hunters is fake. I like THIS show too don't get me wrong, but come on. TAPS goes into every investigation with a skeptical outlook. They'll straight up tell you if somethings not haunted. How do you fake an EVP?

This shhow is ten times better than ghoust hunters. The TAPS team is more about themselves than anything. I think that Penn State Paranormal team is great because they actually respect the spirits they encounter and that is very important.

This show is complete junk. I live down the road from the first episode, in washington pa, and was on the forums discussing it, and was literally told to shut up because I said I had heard they weren't happy with PRS. So now thats gone on and the ADMIN (a very peachy little prick), has literally gone on to childish games of sending 1 sentence messages to me saying 'does that make you mad'. Its almost like pee-wee and saying 'i know you are but what am I'....very annoying. So, yea...wanna touch pages e-mail me and i can even show you the messages sent to me by admin haha

I Love the show as well. I think that they have alot of good footage on their shows. I believe that they all work well together. Just because they may not have extrodinary footage doesnt mean that they arent have personal experiences! I have them all of the time. My brother and grandpa died, and my aunt and I always get strange occurances. With the dog jumping in the air in a dead silent sleep!.....The Show is for real i believe. Many of us will continue watching it. *deuces

I love the show, and it's interesting on how the team works together to help solve why those places are being haunted. I've seen my share of ghosts in my life time and it scared the hell out of me. So I can feel for the families who have to go through the same thing. Mine, however I did find out the history of the place and why it was being haunted. I usually tried to avoid going anywhere near the building but somehow one of my family members were always curious and took me to it anyway. I just wish that there were members like Ryan and his crew in Red Deer Alberta to help me and others who are terrified to go anywhere near the Cronquist house at night or anytime of the day. And help the spirit who still lives inside the house to give it up and go to another dimension instead of thinking that he has to haunt the building and scare other people to keep them out of his tea house.

i would love to know what church you all go to. ive been in the catholic church as a young kid and i didnt know they believed inthe spirit world. the church i am in now believes in the spirit world and does baptisms for the dead, its the church of jesus christ latter day saints, not the polygimist sect that the church has denounced, another name would be mormon, they believe and teach about the spirit world. i would like to know what the religious beliefs of the team is what church they attend and what church they advise to attend. i love you ryan and i love you mr.coffee, take care all of you and god bless you. thank god for you. ann

I am phycic in Norwood MA. I hate when they say 'oooh did you hear that'
and on top of the recording of the show they'll play music or make 'creeky' sounds. Shut Up! Let us hear what they supposedly hear. Elphie could use a hair brush and some pro-active. I'm not being a snob but if I were on TV id try to look my best.
