Hard to understand what HBO is looking for. They cancel Deadwood, Rome, and The Sopranos within months of each other. They must be looking for a different subsciber. When Tony Soprano, Vorenus, Seth Bullock, and Al Swearengen are all gone... I will be too!

I have been in a depressed mood all day. Not seeing Rome on Sunday nights anymore is really hard.

What a shame. The above poster is right. 'Rome', 'Deadwood', 'The Sopranos' all pretty well gone now (just a handfull of Soprano's and the two Deadwood movies to look forward too). I too wonder, how many subscriptions will follow.
Thankfully we still have 'The Wire' for one more season.

It's premature !!! One or more seasons for the real ending of Rome.

You are all right! I have been depressed all week knowing there was no Rome to be watched on Sunday night. I keep watching the rerun on demand. It is only prolonging my ability to accept it is over. Please make another mini series with James Purefoy, Kevin Mckidd, and Ray Stevenson again.

As corney as it sounds, I had a few kids at the school I work at who actually watched ROME and because of that were better able to understand their global studies lessons. There were actually few historial inaccuracies and that helped these kids out a lot in an area where there is not much else to do. So why HBO took something that was entertaining and educational at the same time away from all their fans is beyond me.
