It is such a shame Rome is coming to the end of its run after just 2 seasons, I think its one of the best shows on TV and highly original. Theres gotta be more left in it.

OMG I feel your pain. Rome is the only show in last 6 years that I actually ever made an effort to watch. It really sux I only starting getting HBO for season 2. If there is a God. Please BY Miracle of god.. Bring HBO's ROME BACK.

I'm going to miss having Pullo to look up to. I love that guy. He is so stong, decent and vicious that I can't imagine what could replace him. The whole show is steeped in something that smells, feels and tastes authentic. It's one of those few things where i could catch the occasional historical anachronism or mistake and just not give a damn because I love it so much.

I do have to say that I wish they'd somehow been able to work out keeping the original actor for Octavian all the way through. It's not that I didn't like the second guy so much, but I really wanted to see the wimpy little kid become Caesar Augustus. But that's my only quibble.

Sad that it's over. Glad that it ended on a very good note.

I have never enjoyed a series so much, even if it was a guilty pleasure. All the actors have been exceptional but for me the quiet but impressive Tobias Menzies stood out as Brutus. Its hard for subtle performances to shine in such an over the top series but his acting was wonderful and I cried buckets when he died in the Philippi episode. I dont want to criticise HBO too much. I'm just glad I had a chance to enjoy two series of such wonderful, quality drama.

I just watched the last episode this morning, and though the beautiful weather in NYC today is wonderful, knowing I won't see another episode of ROME has dampened my spirits. The acting was superb, the scenery and the research were first class, and the storyline was compelling. I sympathize with the poster who asks why useless TV stays on year after year, but something like ROME is abandoned after 22 episodes?

I honestly feel like crying everytime I think about my favorite show coming to an end. This show has honestly been the only thing on T.V. worth watching this last year. I am so sick of CSI, Law and Order, and all the other uninteresting garbage on the tube right now. HBO is usually so cool about keeping original programming going. I honestly don't understand this move to cancel Rome. I'm so upset, I could go on forever...

Search this in Google, 'Rome Season 3 Cancelled', then click the first link regarding 'ihad'...read the comments after the article cause HBO might get hit in their hip pocket on this miscalculation.

I will cancel hbo for sure if rome dosent some how come back i loved that show and am sooooo pissed at hbo for not keeping rome that shit about lack of viewers is crap i knew lots that loved rome maybe they should have did more advertising and since they didnt we have to pay'the costomer is always right and we want rome back'''
