Jimmy Borrelli and Chief Wallace Boden are headed for the ultimate showdown tonight as Chicago Fire returns to NBC for Season 5.
Borrelli (Steven R. McQueen) is still close to the edge following the death of his brother, and lashes out as he tells Boden (Eamonn Walker): “You got my brother killed. I’m going to have your badge for that, I promise you.”
Meanwhile Gabriela Dawson (Monica Raymund) fears whether the risks involved in the firefighting career are worth it, as she cares for foster son Louie Thompson.
Also on the Season 5 premiere of Chicago Fire, titled The Hose or the Animal, Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) search for her unstable ex Grant (Guy Burnet) — who has gone missing from Chicago Med.
Elsewhere, the relationship between Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and his political consultant comes off the boil, while Randy “Mouch” McHolland (Christian Stolte) and Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) team up on a new project.
Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on NBC.
