Bringing Up Bates stars Chad and Erin Paine are celebrating the birth of new daughter Brooklyn Elise — the fifth grandchild to join the ever-growing Bates clan.
Adorable pictures show the pair and their new arrival in hospital shortly after the birth over the weekend. It comes after the birth of their first child, Charles Stephen IV, known as Carson, back in May last year.
The couple said their hearts were “overflowing with joy” at their new addition to the family.
They added: “We have looked forward to this day with so much hope, anticipation and excitement. God has answered many prayers and calmed many fears throughout this pregnancy, and to hold our little princess in our hands for the first time is truly a miracle and dream come true.”
One picture shows Erin and Chad along with their two kids posing on a hospital bed, while a second shows Erin kissing her new arrival on the forehead in a beautiful moment captured on camera.
Another shows newborn Brooklyn with the heads of the Bates family, Kelly Jo and Gil, who look overjoyed, while Carson and Brooklyn are also seen sleeping next to each other beside Erin on the hospital bed.
